My Suspended Garden series is a reminder of the vividness of summer meadows and wisteria vines taking over empty, arid spaces. It’s about abundance of bright colors, textures, perfumes, butterflies and the small creatures that make their home in the garden.

By viewing the paintings in this series, the observer has a multi-sensory experience and is almost able to smell the fragrance of a summer garden in full bloom.

Since my childhood, I have been fascinated by the richness of the flora and its variety of shapes, forms and colors.

As my father was a beekeeper, the vibrating hum of bees always accompanied by summer holidays and walks through our gardens. My intention was to reproduce the atmosphere of these gardens on canvas.
